Ni Chromstar® FF/HP is an affinity chromatography resin created by pre-chelating the transition metal ion Ni2+ to the Chromstar® matrix using NTA as its ligand. This resin leverages the interactions between Ni2+ and the side chains of certain amino acids (primarily histidine) in proteins to separate and purify proteins based on their histidine content. Ni Chromstar® FF/HP is the preferred choice for purifying His-tagged proteins due to its high load capacity, easy regeneration, and low cost.
