Molecular Devices' SpectraMax® Plus 384 Microplate Reader provides fast and reliable full spectral range detection of tubes, 96-well and 384-well microplates. The reader also uses a unique temperature-independent path length correction method.
Use the SpectraMax® Plus 384 to run standard spectrophotometer and microplate reader applications simultaneously. This benchmark UV-visible microplate reader is capable of processing up to 384 samples on a single plate. A standard tube, 12 x 75 tubes and 96-well or 384-well microplates can be used to analyze samples. Operators can also increase sample throughput by integrating the system into a complete robotic mechanism that can be easily adjusted to suit sample handling requirements.
The SpectraMax Plus 384 reader is equipped with an innovation patented by Molecular Devices, the PathCheck® sensor, which measures the depth of a sample in a microplate by optical path length. The technology allows automatic adjustment of good absorbance to a tube equivalent path length of 1 cm, converted to 96 or 384 tubes.
Data acquisition and analysis software comes with every microplate reader. This premium all-in-one data software is capable of performing a wide range of ready-to-read protocols. Users will find pre-written max µ protocols to enable measurements for low-volume applications. Using this software, the StakMax® Microplate Handling stacker can also be perfectly integrated with the SpectraMax Plus 384 system.
