2. The Microm cryostat is an upright unit with an open work area, providing ergonomics and convenience for operators standing or seated.
3. The Microm HM 505 E cryostat is designed with a cooling system that reduces the temperature range of the microtome and knife holder working area to -35 °C. This also allows the instrument to cool the freezer station to freeze the specimen to the specimen stage.
4. HM 505 E is equipped with a 24-hour automatic defrost interrupt key and handwheel brake. Further optional accessories include a heat extractor and an active deep freeze unit.
5. Anti-rust HM 505 E provides protection for the knife and the specimen as it retracts the specimen at the end of the cut. The electric rough feeding system can also realize the forward and backward movement of the sample, and has an automatic feeding function, which ensures the fast and accurate adjustment between the sample and the knife edge.
6. Two knife carriers are available for the Microm HM 505 E sectioning cryostat. The standard tool holder is for easy tool clamping and adjustment, the disposable tool holder EC is used for high and low profile inserts. Corresponding anti-roll guides facilitate disengagement.
