MDF 757PT Pulse Time Teaching Stethoscope, MDF Instruments (CAT#: STEM-MEME-0138-LC)

The 757PT Pulse Time Teaching Stethoscope manufactured by MDF Instruments is a 4-way teaching stethoscope which allows the teacher and three students to listen to the same source of sound simultaneously. The stethoscope features a patented Pulse Time chest piece with a 24-hour liquid quartz timepiece. The Pulse Time 4-way Stethoscope chest piece is made of lightweight anodized aluminum and equipped with a unique raised ultra-thin fiber diaphragm. The 757PT has a hand polished, pre-angled stainless steel headset with a patented internal duel-leaf spring to ensure comfort and durability. In addition, the three student headsets are made of chrome-plated brass to provide a proper fit for each individual. ComfortSeal eartips are free of phthalate and clear to maintain cleanliness.

A patented Acoustic Pyramid Chamber (APC) is placed in the acoustic tubing below the spring of the headsets to maintain the opening in the channel for maximum sound transmission. The tubing for the 757PT is made of latex-free PVC for sticking and cracking resistance. The tubing is thicker than usual to ensure excellent sound transmission and provide barrier against ambient sound. The tubing is longer than usual to provide a comfortable spacing between care providers and patient.

The MDF Pulse Time Teaching Stethoscope comes with an accessories kit containing a nylon zippered carrying case with a hook and loop side pocket, two extra sets of ComfortSeal eartips, two spare ultrasensitive diaphragms and an ID Tag.
