Four separate, anatomically matched support zones improve patient comfort while reducing tissue interface pressure and providing pressure redistribution. The 419 Foam Mattress is effective for the prevention and treatment of stage 1 pressure uclers, making it the ideal fit for nursing homes, hospices, and long-term care facilities.
In addition to the 100 percent polyurethane foam technology, the soflux nylon mattress cover of the Lumex Foam Hospital Mattress helps prevent bedsores by keeping the patient dry and reducing infection exposure. Soft and durable Chemlux II top covers are bacteria resistant, flame retardant, fluid resistant, anti-fungal, anti-static, non-allergenic, have near 0 percent vapor transmission, and are easy to clean. This breathable top cover moves with the patient to reduce shearing. A slightly different material on the underside, Chemsafe bottom covers are bacteria resistant, flame retardant, fluid resistant, anti-static, non-allergenic, stain resistant, and easy to clean due to the zippered feature. Both covers, as well as the foam, are latex-free for patient safety.
With a generous weight capacity of 400 lbs, and available in four sizes, the Lumex Platinum Care Foam Mattress is versatile across a wide spectrum of patients. Designed to meet the requirements of HCPCS code: E0184, the Lumex Bed Mattress also meets 16 CFR 1633 requirements.
