The Lumex Extra Wide Clinical Care Recliner provided by GF Health Products, Inc. features outstanding value, durability and comfort, and is easy to clean, ideal for use in hospital and healthcare facility. The recliner has softer seat, back padding, and Ultraflex Tension Bands in the lumbar region to improve patient comfort. The varied density seat back and redesigned seating position provides excellent comfort and support during long-term sitting. The Extra Wide Clinical Care Recliner has a 24" wide seat and a weight capacity of 450 lbs, making it suitable for the larger resident/patient.

The Recliners provides four positions including Upright Position, First Recline Position, Second Recline Position and Trendelenburg (or Shock) Position. Upright Position is ideal for patient transport and can be used to initiate patient treatment / therapy. The First Recline Position which is known as the "TV" position and Second Recline Position which is known as the "Full Recline" position is ideal for patient treatment, rest and reading. Dual gas cylinders give smooth power assistance for back position adjustment and Trendelenburg activation. The Trendelenburg (or Shock) Position is activated by a caregiver. Ergonomically designed padded armrests improve patient comfort.

The Lumex Recliner features PERMABLOK Advanced Vinyl Protective Coating to prevent growth of fungus, mold, and mildew spores on the surface. Silvertex with SILVERGUARD utilizes silver ions to inhibit growth of microorganisms by disrupting protein metabolism in the cell of bacteria. The Clinical Care Recliner feature a specially-designed push bar with grip to improve patient comfort during transport. Four Tente swivel casters make transport and maneuverability in confined areas easy. The right rear caster has a directional wheel lock to prevent lateral drift of the Medical recliner and allow the chair to be effortlessly moved down hallways. In addition, the left and right rear top-locking casters provide a positive lock.
