The Lumex Elite Mattress Series manufactured by GF Health Products, Inc. offers a premium three-layer support surface with outstanding comfort and advanced pressure reduction. The top layer designated for the head and torso is contour cut softer foam, creating individual cells to enhance comfort, relieve pressure, and create air flow for a cooler sleep surface. The center layer is of medium density foam, providing additional support to the top layer. Finally, the bottom layer is a high density foam that provides support to enhance comfort and extend the mattress life. Additionally, the specially designed heel cuts in the center foam layer and extra soft top layer help in heel and ankle tissue pressure reduction while the side bolsters make for easier transfers and egress.
The Lumex Elite Medical Mattress sports a zippered cover made from Recovery5-Ultra healthcare fabric featuring a four-way stretch. Elite Pressure Mattress covers are bacteria resistant, flame retardant, fluid resistant, anti-fungal, anti-static, non-allergenic, have near 0% vapor transmission, and are easy to clean. The breathable Recovery5-Ultra top cover moves with the patient to reduce shearing and skin breakdown. Not to be outdone, the soft and durable Chemsafe bottom covers are also bacteria resistant, flame retardant, fluid resistant, anti-static, non-allergenic, stain resistant, and easy to clean.
