Description

The LCS-DB-100H is a constant-temperature dry block heater for small-volume laboratory samples. It can replace a conventional water bath in applications requiring clean and precise thermal control. Typical uses include enzyme preservation and reactions, nucleic acid and protein denaturation, PCR preparation, electrophoresis pre-denaturation, and serum coagulation. The LCD displays programmed values and real-time temperature and time data on the same screen. A magnesium-aluminum alloy block provides rapid heat transfer and stable temperature distribution. The instrument supports up to ten independently enabled or disabled program segments and as many as ninety-nine program cycles. Temperature-deviation calibration and parameter memory help maintain repeatable operating conditions. Automatic fault detection and an audible alarm indicate cycle completion or abnormal operation. Software monitoring, a physical thermal switch, and a residual-heat warning provide multiple layers of overheating and burn protection.
