LC-STM-IV (B) Stormer Viscometer, 27-5250 cP with RS232 (CAT#: STEM-BC-4042-ZJF)

The LC-STM-IV (B) is a digital Stormer viscometer for evaluating paints, coatings, and compatible non-Newtonian liquids. It measures viscosity over a Krebs-unit range of 40.2 to 141.0 KU. The instrument also converts and displays the associated cP and gram-load values. Its LCD shows KU, cP, load, elapsed time, and ambient temperature at the same time. The full test range can be covered without replacing the rotor. A controlled 200 rpm stirring shaft supports standardized measurement conditions. Automatic motor shutdown protects the system when the rotor stalls or the sample exceeds the measuring range. Audible and visual alarms provide immediate warning of abnormal operating conditions. The RS232 port supports connection to a computer or compatible printer for data output. A spring locking mechanism and stabilizing base pad keep the 500 mL sample container secure during measurement.
