The LC-DR Series consists of portable digital refractometers for measuring sugar concentration in liquid samples. The instruments are suitable for fruit juice, food, beverages, cutting oil, cleaning solution, antifreeze, and compatible chemical liquids. An LCD simultaneously displays Brix and temperature information. Touch-sensitive controls allow one-button measurement with a typical waiting time of approximately three seconds. The zinc-alloy sample well contains a precision glass prism. A cover-free design and integrated optical filter reduce operating steps. Measurement performance is designed to resist interference from strong ambient light and sample color. Automatic temperature compensation supports testing over a broad sample-temperature range. The instruments can be calibrated with tap water and shut down automatically after two minutes without operation.
