Description

KZ-5F-3D Three-Dimensional Cryogenic Grinder is designed for rapid low-temperature grinding of biological and material samples. A three-dimensional infinity-pattern motion drives grinding beads through sealed sample tubes. The instrument processes up to 24 samples in approximately 15 seconds. Grinding speed is adjustable from 3 to 8 m/s with a documented maximum actual speed of 4,500 rpm, a timer from 0 seconds to 99 minutes, and a temperature range from -40 °C to ambient. Ten preset tissue-grinding programs provide repeatable operating conditions. Closed disposable tubes reduce cross-contamination between samples. An emergency stop and electromagnetic lid lock protect access during operation. The documented configuration supports consistent operation within the stated limits. Wet grinding, dry grinding, and compressor-cooled grinding are supported.
