Industrial PP Filter Housing, 10-20 in (CAT#: STEM-BC-2839-ZJF)

This polypropylene filter housing is designed to contain standard replaceable cartridges in water-treatment systems. The molded body includes inlet and outlet ports, a removable cap, and an internal space for the selected filter element. Sealing rings between the housing components create a pressurized filtration chamber. The polypropylene construction resists corrosion from common acids, alkalis, salts, and variable water conditions. Standard cartridge compatibility allows the housing to accept sediment, activated-carbon, and other functional filter elements. Threaded or locking cap designs support routine cartridge replacement using an appropriate housing wrench. Transparent and translucent bowl options allow visual inspection of cartridge contamination. Opaque configurations reduce light exposure and can help limit algae growth in suitable installations. The housing can be used for household, commercial, industrial, reverse-osmosis pretreatment, beverage-process, and laboratory water filtration.
