Horizontal Stainless Steel Plate-and-Frame Filter, 0.5-0.6 MPa (CAT#: STEM-BC-2896-ZJF)

This horizontal plate-and-frame filter is designed for clarification and purification of process liquids. It uses stacked perforated filter plates and flange rings to support replaceable membrane, paper, or cloth media. Pressurized liquid enters the enclosed chamber and is distributed evenly across each filtration layer. Contaminants and activated carbon remain on the media while clarified liquid exits through the central collection passages. SUS304 or SUS316L construction provides corrosion resistance and stable mechanical performance. Internal and external surfaces can be polished to a fine sanitary finish. The dual-screen plate arrangement provides a large filtration area within a relatively compact housing. Optional backwash and heating-jacket systems support cleaning and processing of liquids that crystallize or become viscous at low temperature. The filter is used in chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, environmental, and other industrial clarification processes.
