HOOK™ GST Protein Purification Kit purifies soluble GST-tagged proteins from bacterial cultures. Bacteria are first lysed with bacterial PE LB™ and PE LB™-lysozyme, releasing total soluble protein while maintaining protein structure and activity. GST-tagged proteins were purified by passing the clarified lysate through a prepacked column.

Bacteria - PELB™ Kit has been developed for the extraction of soluble proteins from bacterial cells. It is based on a patented improvement of lysozyme lysis, allowing extraction of soluble proteins while removing nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) released during cell lysis. Bacteria-pe LB™ Lysis eliminates viscosity build-up, allowing efficient clarification with lower centrifugal forces.

The HOOK™ GST Protein Purification Kit is optimized to yield up to 10mg/250ml of soluble GST-tagged protein with a purity of 80-90%, depending on the protein's expression level, resin type, conformation, and solubility characteristics.
