Description

The DHP7-550 is a laboratory heating plate designed for uniform surface heating of vessels, samples, and culture containers placed directly on the working surface. The working surface is fabricated from ceramic-coated aluminum or glass-ceramic, providing high thermal conductivity, chemical resistance, and ease of cleaning. Temperature is regulated by a digital microprocessor controller with real-time readout on an LCD display. An adjustable safety temperature limit can be set to prevent accidental overheating of sensitive samples or vessels. A residual heat indicator remains active after shutdown, alerting operators when the surface temperature exceeds safe handling levels. The compact form factor allows multiple units to be operated simultaneously within a limited bench-top footprint. The unit is suitable for heating culture media, solvents, buffer solutions, and gel casting. Chemical-resistant enclosure materials ensure durability in environments where solvent spills may occur. It is compatible with a range of flat-bottomed vessels including beakers, flasks, Petri dishes, and culture bottles.
