The BIO-10 is a handheld rotor-stator homogenizer for small-volume sample preparation. It draws sample into the narrow rotor-stator gap and applies high shear for rapid homogenization and disruption. The lightweight handheld format supports one-handed operation and use in small vessels. It is suitable for animal and plant tissues, food samples, soil, and other materials requiring pre-analysis homogenization. Interchangeable dispersing heads provide flexibility for different container sizes and sample conditions. The dispersing components are designed for disassembly and high-temperature sterilization. Double-insulation protection and the supplied support stand assist safe laboratory handling. The variable-speed motor allows processing intensity to be matched to the sample.
