GE AKTA Prime Plus Liquid Chromatography System, 0.1 ml/min-50 ml/min, model Prime Plus, is manufactured by GE AKTA. The GE AKTA prime plus is a compact and versatile one-step purification system designed to perform general purification tasks including affinity chromatography, buffer exchange, ion exchange, gel filtration, and HIC. The AKTA prime system operates efficiently with most pre-packed columns such as HiTrap, HiPrep, and HiLoad columns which easily snap on to the side of the unit.
Equipped with a front panel LCD display and easy-to-use push buttons, the GE AKTA prime plus offers high reproducibility and user convenience. This compact system consists of a control system, monitor, pump and fraction collector, and valves for buffer selection, sample injection, gradient formation and flow diversion.
The GE AKTA prime plus liquid chromatography system also features pre-programmed methods for common applications such as purification of affinity tagged proteins, MAbs, and sample clean-up.
