The FOCUS™ Glycoprotein Kit is based on lectins binding specific glycoproteins with terminal α-D Mannose and α-D Glycoproteins.

The FOCUS™ Glycoprotein Kit separates glycoproteins from complex biological solutions using a spin-column containing a lectin (concanavalin A)-binding resin capable of binding and immobilizing ~20mg of glycoproteins. Column-bound glycoproteins are eluted with a set of three fast elution buffers. Proprietary serial elution allows for faster elution compared to other glycoprotein purification systems.

Eluted proteins are suitable for two-dimensional electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing.
