The FlashMax 850 is a laboratory microplate reader designed for rapid 96-well absorbance assays. It supports filter-based absorbance detection for quantitative microplate measurements. Optical measurements are controlled through integrated wavelength-selection and detector components appropriate to the configured detection modes. The instrument supports endpoint and analytical workflows and can be used for routine assay development and measurement. Integrated software provides instrument control, data acquisition, curve fitting, and result analysis. Microplate shaking and temperature-controlled incubation are available where specified to support assay preparation and kinetic measurements. Eight measurement channels and one reference channel support rapid parallel plate reading with an integrated touchscreen interface. The platform is intended for life-science, biochemical, molecular, cellular, and screening applications that require repeatable plate-based measurements.
