Ferno® NAJO® RediHold Backboard manufactured by Ferno features one-piece, high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) construction, with polyurethane foam fill and greater density around the handholds. The board is also buoyant and can be used to float a patient in the water. Angled edges allow smooth log-rolls and painless patient placement. Two handholds at the tapered end allow more stable transport. Head area is smooth to insure all head immobilization devices adhere to the board.
