Ferno® NAJO® Lite Backboard manufactured by Ferno features one-piece, high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) construction, with polyurethane foam fill and greater density around the handholds. The board is also buoyant and can be used to float a patient in the water. Angled edges allow smooth log-rolls and painless patient placement. Two handholds at the tapered end allow more stable transport. Central slot in the lower half of board is used to immobilize each leg separately.
