Similar to the principle of human lung function testing, PFT can conduct a series of group experiments on anesthetized animals, automatically detect and perform real-time data analysis, and obtain corresponding physiological parameters of lung function. The FRC test requires the animal to maintain spontaneous breathing. Other tests can be performed using a ventilator to assist breathing or the animal is breathing spontaneously.

Main parameters: FRC functional residual capacity, FEVx forced expiratory flow in X second, FVC forced vital capacity, Chord quasi-static lung compliance, airway resistance RI and dynamic lung compliance Cdyn, TLC lung volume, VC vital capacity, etc.
Applicable animal species: mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, monkeys or other large animal models
