Eriez E-Z Tec DSP Metal Detector, 100-240V, model DSP1.5x4 SLAR, is manufactured by Eriez Manufacturing Co.
The E-Z Tec DSP Metal Detector uses a balancedcoil system to detect various types of metallic contamination such as mild steel, non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. The E-Z Tec DSP Metal Detector uses a three-coil detection system.

SUPPLY, MAINS, VOLTAGE
The E-Z Tec® DSP metal detector will operate from AC supply voltages over the range of 100 to 240 VAC RMS, 50 or 60 Hz. Mains supply voltage fluctuations shall not exceed ±10% of the nominal value.
OUTPUTS
Two Reject Relays: OUT1 (K1) and OUT2 (K3). One Fault Relay (K2) All outputs are "form C” ( NO-CNC) and are rated at 5 amps at up to 240 VAC .
OUT1 has two sets of contacts, OUT1A & B
OUT2 has one set of contacts
FAULT has one set of contacts
NOTE: Auxiliary devices have to be rated for the same voltage supplying the metal detector, if they are powered from the internal connections.
TACHOMETER INPUT
Input Voltage levels
Logic "0” 0.0 to 0.9 VDC
Logic "1” 3.2 to 50 VDC
The input can also be from a NPN, Open Collector or "N” channel open drain output.
Current requirements of Tachometer Input Sourcing: No minimum sourcing current required. Sinking: 0.001 A (1.0 mA ) minimum.
Frequency: 50Hz (Determined by number of poles on Tachometer and maximum belt speed)
Minimum pulse width is 0.005 seconds (5 msec)
