Electronic Ice Box eICE-4, 4 C Setpoint (CAT#: STEM-AL-6440-ZJF)

The eICE-4 is an electronic cooling block for temporary reagent storage during molecular-biology workflows. It uses semiconductor refrigeration and automatically regulates the working block at the specified cold setpoint after startup. No routine temperature-setting adjustment is required for its standard operating mode. Interchangeable blocks accommodate several common microtube sizes and mixed-tube configurations. The unit can be used while preparing reagents, staging reaction components, or organizing cold-sensitive materials on the bench. Thermoelectric cooling provides a dry alternative to conventional ice-based reagent holding. The compact enclosure combines the cooling block and control electronics in a bench-top format. The system is intended to maintain short-term cold conditions close to PCR and molecular sample-preparation work areas.
