Introduction

Tocopherols are pale yellow mucus, almost odorless. All natural tocopherols are D-tocopherols (dextral type), which have 8 configurations such as α, β, ϒ and δ, among which α-tocopherol is the most active. Tocopherol mixed concentrates used as antioxidants are mixtures of various isomers of natural tocopherol. It is widely used in food processing, especially as an antioxidant and nutritional fortification agent for baby food, therapeutic food, fortified food, etc.




Principle
