The Fume Hood is a negative pressure ventilation system designed to protect both the operator and the laboratory environment. Room air enters through the front opening and is continuously extracted by the blower system, preventing hazardous fumes, vapors, aerosols, and corrosive gases from escaping into the workspace. Optional activated carbon filters can be installed to purify the exhaust air before it is released, helping to safeguard the external environment as well.
