The DSM-5 is a portable pen-type salinity meter for rapid analysis of liquid samples. It determines salinity by measuring the electrical conductivity of the solution and converting the signal into a salinity value. The instrument is suitable for food processing, agriculture, industrial production, aquaculture, and water testing. Its lightweight ergonomic body supports convenient field and laboratory operation. A backlit LCD presents the measurement value clearly. Platinum-plated dual semicircular sensors provide a rapid response and display results within approximately three seconds.
