Disposal Bags manufactured by SARSTEDT are made from a 50 µm-thick polypropylene sheet. These bags are used for collection and disposal of used disposable products from the laboratory and hospital. They are particularly resistant to tears and punctures; however, they should never be filled with sharp or pointed objects. In addition to various sizes, coloured bags and bags printed with 'Bio Hazard' are also available. Disposal Bags must be autoclaved when unsealed in order to achieve reliable sterilisation.
