Corvital SMD is a hydrophilic PVDF sterilizing filter designed for high flow and low protein adsorption. It is suitable for buffer filtration, pre-column protection, ultrafiltration protection, intermediate product filtration, and bulk solution filtration. It can also be used for serum and blood product filtration, final product sterile filtration, and filtration of colloidal or viscous liquids. The filter provides reliable bacterial and particle retention for process fluid applications. The construction includes hydrophilic PVDF membrane, polypropylene support layers, polypropylene structural components, and PBT liners for cartridge formats. Capsule and SP3 capsule configurations support different process connection requirements. Standard and large-area filtration formats are available. Each unit is integrity tested and traceable by unique serial number.
