Copure® C8 SPE Cartridges provided by STE-Mart contain an octyl-bounded silica gel sorbent C8 which offers strong retention for non-polar compounds via hydrophobic interactions. C8 has shorter carbon chains and moderate hydrophobicity than C18, making it ideal for extraction of compounds that is strongly retained by C18 sorbent.
