Classic Cryogenic Vial manufactured by Alpha Laboratories is made from a special grade of polypropylene. The vial can withstand the harsh -196°C temperature of vapour phase liquid nitrogen, making it ideal for safe, ultra-low temperature storage of biological material, human or animal cells. The cap and tube are made from the same material so with temperature change, they shrink and expand in unison ensuring an equally secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures.
