The GoodImage2000 is a chemiluminescence imaging system designed for digital documentation and quantitative analysis of laboratory imaging samples. The enclosed imaging chamber limits ambient-light interference during image acquisition. A high-sensitivity digital or cooled camera captures low-intensity signals with a broad usable dynamic range. Integrated image-analysis software supports lane and band recognition, intensity measurement, background correction, and quantitative analysis. Image-processing functions support operations such as cropping, inversion, rotation, and three-dimensional display where specified. Safety interlocks and illumination-control functions support routine operation with ultraviolet or visible excitation sources where applicable. Thermoelectrically cooled CCD imaging and low dark current support detection of weak chemiluminescent bands and quantitative blot analysis. The system is intended for molecular-biology and protein-analysis workflows requiring reproducible image capture, processing, and result export.
