Centrifuge Empty Column (2ml, 20μm pore), model FCL122 is manufactured by Beyotime. Each set of the centrifuge empty column tube contains a 2 ml capacity outer tube, a 1 ml capacity inner tube and a 20μm pore size high molecular polyethylene sieve plate. The outer tube and inner tube are made of high-purity polypropylene (the same material as various commonly used EP tubes), the height of the cylinder is 23.6mm, and the inner diameter of the cylinder is 7.2mm, which has extremely low adsorption of various biomolecules. The thickness of the sieve plate is about 1.6 mm. It is made of high-purity ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHWMPE) through a special process. The pore size is uniform, it is not suitable for generating bubbles and has good hydrophobicity. The entire centrifuge empty column tube can tolerate acid, alkali and general organic solvents due to its material characteristics, and has no adsorption effect on most biological molecules. It can be used for the rapid separation of solid and liquid phases, filling various common protein, nucleic acid or other biological small molecule purification media or solid phase extraction media, etc. For the separation and purification of small biological molecules, more users prefer to use polyethylene sieve. The centrifuge empty column tube can withstand the centrifugal force of 12,000g.
