Description
The design of the CELLSPIN rotating flask provides a high surface-to-volume ratio, thereby ensuring improved oxygenation compared to standard designs. The unique stirring mechanism of the CELLSPIN rotating bottle relies on two glass pendulums, which ensure low shear forces while maintaining optimal mixing results. Since most cells are very sensitive to overheating, the stirring platform design prevents heat release and transfer to the cell suspension. Due to these specific measures for gentle cell culture, high-yield expression is possible even from the most sensitive cell lines.
