The KJ512-3 cell culture flask is a sterile disposable consumable designed for the static culture of adherent and suspension cell lines in laboratory and production settings. It is manufactured from high-clarity polystyrene (PS) in a cleanroom facility and is available in multiple volume configurations to suit different cell culture scales. The culture surface receives a standard tissue-culture treatment to provide a hydrophilic, cell-compatible surface that supports cell attachment and growth. The vented cap design incorporates a 0.2 μm hydrophobic membrane filter that allows gas exchange while excluding airborne contaminants, eliminating the need for open-lid incubation. The flask body is optically clear to enable direct visual inspection of cell morphology and confluency without removing the flask from the incubator. A large label area on the flask surface facilitates easy identification and documentation of culture conditions. The neck angle and cap dimensions are designed for comfortable single-handed operation during medium changes, passaging, and cell harvesting. The flask is manufactured from virgin raw materials certified free of cytotoxic substances and is tested for biocompatibility in accordance with Quality Management Standard 10993 standards. Its flat base geometry allows stable placement on benchtops and in incubator shelves without risk of tipping. The product is intended for single use and should be discarded after the completion of each cell culture experiment.
