The Delta-Lite^® Conformable Fiberglass Casting Tape manufactured by BSN Medical is made of patented latex-free elastic fabric to provide rigid strength and multi-directional conformability, which allows the Casting Tape to easily adhere to the body's shape, thereby achieving a closer, more comfortable fit without tucks, folds, or pressure points. Compared with the traditional fiberglass casting tape with special resin formula, the molding has been greatly improved. This resin maintains smooth and is easy to manipulate during the reliable 3 minute working time. It can work with any glove. The weight bearing time is about 20 minutes.
The Fiberglass Casting Tape features open-knit substrate to increase air and vapor ventilation. The combination of fiberglass and the secure lamination provides excellent strength, stability and support.
Fiberglass Casting Tape features water resistance. When using with waterproof cast padding, Fiberglass Casting Tape becomes totally waterproof and may be submerged completely underwater. Waterproof padding allows water to drain from the cast in minutes, and body heat can transform the rest into vapor that passes through the cast itself, completely drying within an hour and a half.
