BF1700 High-Temperature Box Furnace, 1,700 °C, 1-36 L is designed for laboratory calcination, sintering, heat treatment, and process development. The furnace has a rated temperature of 1,700 °C and a documented continuous working temperature of 1,650 °C. Available chamber volumes span 1-36 L. The heating rate is adjustable within 1-15 °C/min. Heating is provided by molybdenum disilicide rods. A programmable PID controller supports thirty temperature segments. Automatic heating, holding, and stop sequences support repeatable thermal programs. Polycrystalline alumina-fiber insulation provides low thermal mass and thermal stability. Temperature measurement uses a B-type platinum-rhodium thermocouple.
