The Benchmark BioClave 16 is a 16 liter autoclave that offers a compact yet spacious method of steam sterilization, fully automatic operation and additional drying. The built-in water tank and spacious interior allow users to steam sterilize a variety of tools, yet occupy only a small lab bench. To achieve autoclaving, the unit reaches PSI/2 Bar and reaches temperatures between 121-134°C/ 249.8-273.2°F. All settings on the biosterilizer are fully adjustable for added flexibility. The STE16M also has a large, easy-to-read display and can be operated at the touch of a button. This Bioclave 16 has a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that guarantees to prevent the door from being closed if the interior does not reach zero PSI, automatically closes in the event of a short circuit, and automatically detects errors and reports to the user.
