In the culture of non-adherent cells, the Incu-Shaker CO2 Mini combines a precision CO2 incubation chamber with an integral orbital shaker to provide optimal conditions for suspension cell culture. Unique and proprietary heat distribution technology allows the incubator to provide the highest level of temperature accuracy with the lowest fluctuations (within 0.1 degrees Celsius). The 6-sided heating system, in line with the low speed internal fan, spreads the air evenly in the stainless steel cavity (without communicating with the outside environment). For applications that require gravity convection alone, this internal fan can be disabled and the concern for sample contamination is significantly reduced. On a continuous 19 mm track, a beltless motor drive provides a horizontal cyclic shaking motion. The platform can be used for low-speed shaking of a variety of laboratory vessels, including Erlenmeyer fl, culture plates and media bottles.
