The Beckman Coulter Allegra 21R is a compact refrigerated bench top centrifuge. It is great for pelleting, nucleic acid precipitation, and protein extraction.
The Beckman Allegra 21R Refrigerated Centrifuge provides compact, temperature-controlled, everyday centrifugation for a wide range of applications. The space-saving, small foot-print design of the Allegra X-21R maximizes bench space, with a has a quiet brushless induction drive for a <64 dBA noise level. This benchtop refrigerated centrifuge has timer functions, from up to 9 hrs. and 59 mins, hold and pulsing, and a temperature range of between -20 to 40°C. All of which are selected from the upfront digital control panel.
The Beckman Allegra X-21R Centrifuge is also compatible with a library of 11 rotors, sold separately, and can achieve up to 15300 RPM depending on the rotor. The S2096 microtiter plate rotor gives uses a reliable method of spinning down a microplate, but with a gentler speed maximum of 3000 RPM (1100 x g). The maximum capacity this benchtop centrifuge can hold is 4 x 750ml. The Beckman Allegra X-21R Centrifuge features 10 acceleration and deceleration profiles to suit your needs.
