BE-9000 Microvolume UV-Visible Spectrophotometer is designed for direct microvolume optical measurement. The optical system covers 190-850 nm. The sample stage uses 0.5-2 µL per measurement. The instrument measures nucleic acids, proteins, and cell-density samples according to the selected method. A cuvette mode extends the system to conventional liquid measurements where provided. The integrated display and operating system allow standalone use without an external computer. The optical path changes according to sample concentration and measurement mode. Results are generated rapidly and can be reviewed through the touchscreen interface. The system supports repeatable quantitative measurements within the specified absorbance and wavelength limits.
