The device represents a dependable approach to atomization and spray drying. The compact, rugged, direct-drive, high-speed motor, utilizing only a few parts in one rotating assembly (no gear, pulley, gearbox or coupling), reduces the need for traditional mechanical maintenance. High quality, oil-mist lubricated precision bearings, of ceramic-ball design, provide maximum reliability for flue gas desulfurization or spray drying applications.

The nebulizer assembly is designed to be easily installed in a hot air booster chamber, providing a close mix between the atomized feed material and the hot dry air.
The unique "direct drive" atomizer unit mounts the atomizer wheels directly to the rigid shaft of the high-speed motor, allowing the unit to operate below the first critical speed, minimizing the risk of excessive vibration (operating below the first critical speed).
The speed of the atomizer can be easily adjusted using variable frequency drives (VFDs) to optimize machining and product characteristics.
The atomizer design and materials of construction make it suitable for use in "traditional" chemical spray drying plants and corrosive flue gas spray absorption processes.
The compact size of the unit (compared to the gearbox design) facilitates manual operation during disassembly, inspection, cleaning, reinstallation, etc.
For larger capacity plants, multiple nebulizer configurations (three atomizers per spray dryer) are available, which allows one unit to be disassembled for inspection/repair without interrupting processing.
The local nebulizer control panel (included) provides local and remote control and monitoring capabilities.
