Backwash Self-Cleaning Filter, Up to 8000 m³/h (CAT#: STEM-BC-2902-ZJF)

This backwash self-cleaning filter is designed to remove particles from low-viscosity industrial liquids. Multiple stainless steel wedge-wire elements are integrated inside the housing for high-capacity filtration. Liquid enters both ends of the elements and passes through the screen toward the clean-water outlet. Retained contaminants accumulate on the internal screen surfaces and gradually increase differential pressure. At the preset pressure or time, a motor positions the backwash arm against an individual element or element group. Clean filtrate reverses through the selected screen and carries the released cake into the drain line. Other elements remain in filtration service so the outlet flow continues during cleaning. An indexed positioning disc aligns the cleaning arm precisely with each screen. The system is used for cooling water, seawater, groundwater, process water, irrigation, petrochemical water, and power-plant circulation systems.
