The B-Type PTFE magnetic stir bar set is designed for use with laboratory magnetic stirrers. It contains seven stir bars in different sizes and a pair of tweezers. The range of sizes supports use with various flat-bottom laboratory vessels. A magnetic field generated by the stirrer drives the neodymium magnet inside each stir bar. This rotational movement promotes uniform mixing throughout the liquid. The PTFE coating is chemically inert toward most acids, alkalis, solvents, and organic compounds. Its low-friction and non-stick surface supports smooth rotation and convenient cleaning. The material retains mechanical toughness at low temperatures and provides stable performance during long-term atmospheric exposure.
