NEMO is a compact automated sample-processing workstation for repetitive laboratory liquid-handling workflows. The platform supports multiple arm and pipetting-head configurations so throughput and flexibility can be matched to the application. Air-displacement pipetting is combined with pressure-based liquid-level detection for controlled aspiration and dispensing. Single-channel and multichannel configurations support routine transfers between tubes and SBS-format microplates. Tip pickup sensing on supported configurations helps verify consumable engagement during automated operation. Optional ultraviolet and HEPA functions can be used to support contamination-controlled sample processing. The workstation can be configured with robotic arms and different deck sizes for broader automation tasks. The system is intended to standardize repetitive sample preparation while reducing manual pipetting and associated variability.
