CANTUS PRIME is a laboratory automation workstation designed for programmable liquid handling across complex sample-processing workflows. The platform uses independently controlled pipetting channels so aspiration spacing, liquid volume, and pipetting height can be adjusted according to the method. Air-displacement pipetting eliminates the need for a system liquid and supports direct handling of common laboratory samples and reagents. Dual-mode liquid-level sensing supports dynamic tracking of the liquid surface during automated aspiration and dispensing. Tip-status detection and independent channel calibration support reliable execution of unattended protocols. The modular deck can accommodate laboratory consumables and functional modules and can be expanded with robotic gripping hardware. Menu-based software with drag-and-drop method editing and standard application templates supports method setup and process monitoring. The system is intended for automated workflows that require flexible pipetting, deck integration, robotic transfer, and traceable electronic operation.
