ASSIST provides unmatched pipetting ergonomics. By connecting the VIAFLO electronic pipette to ASSIST, the pipette protocol can be executed automatically. It minimizes manual pipetting, thereby reducing repeated movements of laboratory personnel, which may cause repeated pressure injuries. Manual pipetting requires practice to obtain reproducible pipetting results. The depth of tip immersion and pipetting angle affect performance. ASSIST's automatic pipetting function ensures the consistence of these parameters, thereby improving reproducibility. The communication between the pipette and ASSIST is established via Bluetooth. The convenient setup and easy-to-use user interface make the VIAFLO pipettes suitable for automatic pipetting, combined with ASSIST or standard manual pipetting. Using the Smart Pipette Adapter, all VIAFLO multi-channel pipettes (8, 12 and 16 channels) can be connected with a coverage of 0.5-1250 µl. To meet different application requirements, 6-well to 384-well plates in vertical and horizontal formats can be used.
