Description

The Arrayforce™ membrane contactor is designed for degassing liquid flow paths in precision analytical and medical instruments. It uses hydrophobic hollow fiber membranes to increase liquid contact area and improve mass transfer efficiency. Dissolved gas moves through nanoscale hydrophobic pores under a partial pressure difference and is removed by vacuum, while liquid is blocked from passing through the membrane. The contactor provides high degassing efficiency, low pressure loss, and large membrane area for higher degassing demand. Multiple membrane fiber types are available to match different liquids, including PP for water-like aqueous liquids and PMP for aqueous liquids with surface tension above 24 dyne/cm.
