Description
The iStent Trabecular MicroBypass Stent System is an intraocular stent made of titanium and coated with heparin. The implant is designed to be inserted into canal of Schlemm, thereby creating a patented opening in the trabecular meshwork and restoring normal physiological outflow. The inserter designed by Glaukos Corporation is used to secure the implant and release it after inserting it into canal of Schlemm.
