LifeVest Wearable Defibrillator (CAT#: AM-IA-0661-LC)

LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) is provided for patients who are at risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD). It provides leading protection and monitoring capabilities and improves life quality.

Comfortable, lightweight clothes can be washed and worn all day, except when bathing and showering.
Dry, non-sticky sensing electrodes on the electrode strip allow continuous monitoring of the patient's heart.
The monitor is worn in a holster around the waist and collects ECG data from the sensing electrodes and then submits it to a doctor through a modem.
The alarm module will alert the patient with audible, visual and tactile alarms when detecting a life-threatening arrhythmia. A conscious patient can prevent electric shock by pressing two response buttons simultaneously.
If a life-threatening arrhythmia occurs, the therapeutic electrodes will automatically deploy conductive gel before delivering electric shock.
